Vintage Art Deco German Black Enamel & Brass Tone Flip Ticket Plato Clock. Great geometric design with a flip ticket display – the top showing the days and the bottom the minutes, these flick over on the hour and every minute. The retaining lever above the hours is signed Germany. The clock has an eight day movement and is wound at the base. The height of the clock is approx. 5.25 inches tall x 3.5 inches wide across the base. Weighs 460g on my scales without packaging. I have had the clock running for a few days and it appears to work well but runs slightly fast, it probably just needs a service. There is a small amount of wear to the black enamel – a small chip to the front of the clock and wear to the foot at the side of the clock are the only really noticeable bits. There is a fine hairline to the enamel by the foot at the front which is only noticeable on close inspection, it cannot be seen when on display. The clock is in great condition, this is a lovely unusual collectable Art Deco clock. Please be aware that many of the items I sell are vintage and will show signs of wear and tear which I try to describe accurately, however mistakes occasionally happen.
